We are very pleased to introduce Gray Wolf's Rangeley
Lakes Dams Historical Presentation Streamers. In honor of the 3 Historical Dams that have served the area for over one hundred
years Gray Wolf joins his Middle Dam and Lower Dam streamer flies to the Upper Dam streamer originally tied by Leslie Hilyard.
Altho the Lower Dam was very carefully removed last year it is still in the hearts of many a fly fisherman on the upper end
of the beautiful Rapid River. The Upper Dam is well known as the home of Carrie Stevens where she originated the famous Gray
Ghost streamer that has caught thousands of Brook Trout and Salmon in these waters over the many years. It is still situated
and working between Mooselookmeguntic and Upper Richardson Lakes. The Middle Dam is located on Lower Richardson Lake where
it empties into the Pond in the River.
Many a fly fisherman have fished below these dams in the fast
swirling waters hoping to catch that one trophy fish. It is for them that Gray Wolf has tied these beautiful streamers to
honor and to remember the excitement of playing and landing that trophy fish.
The three streamers are tied on circa 1950's Edgar Sealey and
Sons Ltd. of Reditch England streamer hooks. Elegantly tied using pure silk and the finest materials they are offered in a
choice of either the rustic 8x10 Birch Bark or our beautiful 8x10 Barnboard frames. Also included is a brass plaque with
the names of the streamers. Each frame is signed and dated by Gray Wolf. They are all to be numbered from 1 thru 100.
This is the second in Gray Wolf's series of collectable framed streamers. The first was the Rangeley Sesquicentennial which
