Glass Beaded Tandem Trolling Streamers
Rangeley Style Beaded Tandem Streamers and Bucktails
catch Salmon and Trout along with many other game fish. Gray Wolf ties these tandem streamers with the same care and attention
to detail found in his other flies.
# 4 hooks are used along with carefully chosen high reflective
glass beads, many with an inside mirror finish. The approximate 3 1/8 inch size immitates the general size of a feeding baitfish.
The hooks are attached with 27 pound coated stainless braided wire.
This type of fly is intended to be trolled behind a boat
at speeds of 3 to 5 miles per hour. Early ice out finds many fisherman using 6 to10 pound Monofilament line anywhere
from the prop wash out to 100 feet, placing the fly in the first one to two feet of the water column. As the water warms and
fish go deeper in search of their food, some anglers choose lead core line or downriggers to reach the fish. What ever
your method Gray Wolf's Beaded Tandems in your favorite pattern catch the big ones.
